Our Story

The beginning

We graduated from IIa Grammar School in the year 2000. After about 20 years of separation, precisely on August 2, 2019, a member of the class suggested to other friends about the possible creation of a WhatsApp platform that would bring all the former classmates together to share their personal stories about life’s journeys in the last two decades.

The realization

This experience made us understand that in spite of the extraordinary potentials demonstrated in high school, several factors have mitigated individuals reaching their full promises. Therefore, we decided to use our shared stories and global network to support indigent and committed students in the local high schools.

Inauguration of the first 100 scholars into the MCIGS tutorial programme.

Our Operational Model

The ToLE model is the core framework guiding MCIGS, shaped by the personal journeys of its founders. It emphasizes the importance of strong foundational experiences in shaping future development. Through community engagement and stakeholder input, MCIGS identified a critical gap: the lack of qualified teachers in local schools. In response, the organization is actively recruiting subject specialists to enhance teaching quality, aiming to boost exam performance and expand access to higher education.

Supporting the academic and career aspirations of indigent and committed youngsters from disadvantaged communities across the globe, empowering them with the tools and opportunities to thrive. With unwavering commitment, we envision raising a minimum of one million university graduates by the year 2100—individuals who will emerge as transformative nation-builders, reshaping their communities and contributing meaningfully to global progress.
